Role Detail As part of our pivotal wider Technology team, with over 100 nationally, you will be valued and respected. Reporting to the Service Desk Manager, who offers support and guidance, this varied role will see you as the first port of call for any enquiries and problems relating to Technology.
Support is given over the phone, via email and in person. This is a highly customer service focused environment that requires exceptional communication skills. Based in the Brisbane CBD office, you will also have responsibility for the daily operations of the audio-visual service and video conferencing service, predominantly on the client floor.
You will be required to provide high quality support to our internal and external clients and be comfortable with administrative and procedural responsibilities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a client-focused environment, and takes pride in delivering high-quality support.

This varied service desk position, that will include being called upon to support for AV troubleshooting and set up for client meetings, requires a calm and knowledgeable demeanour, underpinned by a customer centric approach.
You will also bring: Proven ability to clarify priorities and resolve technical issues in a Windows 11 and Office 365 environment Troubleshooting skills for supporting remote staff (VPN & Azure Virtual Desktop etc.) Experience with managing Mobile devices via an MDM solution. (i. Phones etc.)
- Active directory skills - ability to maintain, create, and delete user accounts Understanding of network topology Experience maintaining accurate IT asset records and performing laptop reimaging. Configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting AV and video conferencing equipment Attainment of or progression towards Microsoft Certified Professional certification Attainment of or progression towards ITIL Foundation certification NOTE: Due to the nature of the role, flexibility is needed to work a rotating roster for national coverage between the hours of 7am – 6.00pm
- In-office support in Brisbane is currently required from 7.30am until 6pm, Monday to Friday. One weekend a month will also be needed to be on call (on a rotating roster) and Bi-Monthly to be on call for 1 week after hours (additional payment given!).
