Correctional Officer

This position performs protective service work to maintain safety and security within the facility. Provide information to other facilities by email, phone or in written form.  Handle complaints, settling disputes and resolving conflicts between inmates. Ensuring all paper work correct for all new intake of inmates and all discharges of inmates.

Complete knowledge in the RMS system, Dynamic Imaging, Predatory Offender registration system, radio usage, telephone system first aid, CPR and Minnesota Repository of Arrest Photos. Ability to control extremely stressful situations yet still stay calm enough to provide the aid and assistance that is needed at that time for that situation to that inmate.

Have intimate understanding of the Use of Force Statute and the ability.....
