Part-Time Dispensing Audiologist | Outpatient Clinic
Job description
Location:** San Leandro, CA
Schedule:** Part Time (2 times a month on Monday)
Compensation:** $900 per diem
Position Type:** Independent Contractor (1099)
About The Opportunity**
Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Dispensing Audiologist (AuD)** to provide care in a structured, outpatient clinic-based environment in San Leandro, CA.
This is a clinic-based role where you’ll function as an extension of the clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior populations.
If you’re looking for meaningful, mission-driven work with schedule consistency — without the overhead and administrative burden of running your own practice — this opportunity offers flexibility and professional support.
The Setting**
This opportunity operates within a community-based outpatient clinic model.
• Clinic staff are on-site full time • Organized scheduling and patient flow • Coordinated, team-based care environment • Value-based model focused on seniors
We manage equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing logistics — allowing you to focus entirely on delivering high-quality hearing care.
What You’ll Do**
• Perform comprehensive audiometric evaluations and hearing assessments • Diagnose and manage hearing-related conditions within your scope of practice • Fit and program hearing aids as appropriate • Provide patient education on hearing health and device use • Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
What Makes This Different**
This is not a high-volume retail model.
Our audiologists are integrated into established clinic environments and represent Comprehensive Mobile Care directly within each partner location.
We emphasize:
• Quality over volume • Consistency and predictability • Administrative and logistical support • Long-term clinic partnerships • Ethical, mission-driven healthcare delivery
Qualifications**
• Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree • Active California audiology license and dispensing license • Experience treating senior populations preferred • Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills • Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic environments
Schedule**
• Part Time (2 Times a month on Monday) • Typical hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm • No nights • No weekends • No billing or administrative responsibilities
