Medical Assistant

Our busy dermatology practice is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant with EMR experience! We are looking for a friendly, motivated team player who is willing and able to learn and be a member of an awesome team. We welcome candidates taking a gap year prior to PA School. Room Patients, triage, obtain/document medical history and chief complaint in EMR Document Allergies and Medications and Obtain Informed consent from patients Scribe and assist provider during exams and procedures Assist skin cancer surgeries, medical procedures and cosmetic procedures Prescription management Patient call backs with pathology results/Schedule excisions Prior Authorizations and Biologics Clean and restock exam rooms/assist with inventory Sterilize Instruments Assist with any administrative duties such as answering the phone, patient questions and scheduling 1+ year(s) of Medical Assistant experience (Required) EMR experience (Required) Dermatology experience (Preferred) Front desk experience (Preferred) We welcome future PA / Medical student candidates needing clinical hours for a gap year or more.
