Filtration Plant Maintenance III

Under general supervision performs advanced skilled technical level maintenance, repair, overhaul, fabrication, and installation of mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, and electrical equipment used in the operation of the City’s water treatment facilities.  Duties include welding, machinist work, pump and equipment repair, and Plant Operator A responsibilities, including operation of pumping stations, generators, treatment processes, and the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system.

Serves as a lead worker by providing guidance and training to assigned maintenance personnel.
