About Zinnov

Zinnov is a global management consulting firm that helps organizations make decisions that actually get used — and deliver results that matter. For over two decades, we’ve partnered with leading enterprises, high-growth technology companies, and investors to answer some of the toughest questions they face:

Where should we invest?

How do we scale globally?

What capabilities will win in the next decade?

Our work shapes market entry strategies, global operating models, M&A decisions, and long-term growth bets. We’re known for being data-led, execution-focused, and outcome-driven** — not opinion-heavy slideware.

At Zinnov, how you work matters as much as what you deliver. We value independent thinking, crisp communication, and early ownership. With 450+ professionals across 10 global offices, we work across industries including Digital Services, ER&D, Enterprise Software, Semiconductors, Healthcare, BFSI, Automotive, Media & Telecom, and Private Equity.

Zinnov isn’t for everyone. It’s for people who want steep learning curves, honest feedback, and the chance to see their work influence real business decisions — not just presentations.

** Why Globalization Excellence (GE) **

Zinnov’s Globalization Excellence (GE) practice helps enterprises build and scale Global Capability Centers (GCCs) end-to-end — from Design & Discovery to Build, Scale, and Run.

In GE, you don’t work in silos. You:

  • Own complex, end-to-end client journeys
  • Work across GCC advisory, managed services, and BOT / outsourcing models
  • Influence leadership decisions that shape long-term talent and operating strategies

This is where strategy meets execution — and where talent plays a defining role.

** About the Role **

As an ** Engagement Manager ** , you will drive end-to-end delivery for consulting engagements across technology-driven domains (TMT, Automotive, Manufacturing, Telecom, Semiconductors, and adjacent areas). This role is designed for a client-facing problem solver who can lead teams through ambiguity, translate data into clear strategic insights, and deliver high-quality outputs with strong ownership on scope, timelines, and stakeholder management.

You will work closely with senior leadership on ** practice development ** , contribute to ** business development ** , and provide ** thought leadership ** while remaining hands-on in shaping analysis, narratives, and recommendations.

** What You’ll Do **

** End-to-End Project Delivery **

  • Own engagement delivery from kickoff to final output, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

  • Lead multiple workstreams and manage risks proactively to ensure predictable delivery and client confidence.

  • Drive crisp, structured, and insight-led deliverables that translate research and analysis into recommendations.

** Research & Insight Development **

  • Guide teams on primary and secondary research approaches; validate data quality and analytical rigor.

  • Review and refine insights, patterns, and implications (qualitative and quantitative) to strengthen recommendations.

  • Ensure deliverables meet high standards of written and visual communication.

** Client & Stakeholder Management **

  • Lead client communication and expectation management — clarify requirements, run structured cadence, and drive alignment.

  • Engage effectively across CXO and senior stakeholder levels, ensuring outputs are decision-ready and credible.

  • Manage external research partners / vendors where applicable.

** Business Development & Solutioning **

  • Support deal pursuits by participating in client calls, pitching solutions, and shaping proposals.

  • Design engagement structures — resourcing plans, effort estimates, travel assumptions, and pricing inputs.

  • Build proof-of-concepts where required and contribute to solution narratives and sales collateral.

** Practice Development & Knowledge Building **

  • Support practice/team building efforts and capability development.

  • Contribute to thought leadership through knowledge nuggets, frameworks, whitepapers, and capability decks.

  • Help codify repeatable methodologies and build reusable assets for scale.

** People Leadership & Coaching **

  • Lead and motivate project teams; coach on research, analysis, and consulting-grade communication.

  • Drive performance through clear expectations, feedback, and development-oriented mentoring.

  • Promote execution rigor in fast-paced, timeline-driven environments.

** What You Bring **

** Qualifications & Experience **

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering) from a top-tier university; MBA preferred.

  • 8+ years of relevant consulting experience with strong end-to-end engagement ownership.

  • Domain exposure across technology-led sectors such as TMT, automotive, manufacturing, telecom, semiconductors, or similar.

** Key Skills **

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capability; comfort with data-heavy, insight-led work.

  • Excellent business writing, storytelling, and client-ready presentation skills.

  • High attention to detail and strong standards for written and visual output quality.

  • Strong project management and execution discipline under tight timelines.

  • Ability to lead teams in high-pressure environments with hands-on delivery ownership.

  • Strong stakeholder presence across senior client and internal leadership audiences.

  • High proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and comfort with technology tools/customization.

  • Self-driven, high-energy, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-growing setup.

  • International experience is a plus.

** What Success Looks Like **

  • Consistent delivery of high-quality engagements — on time, on scope, and with strong client confidence.

  • Clear, data-backed insights translated into decision-ready recommendations and leadership-grade narratives.

  • Strong stakeholder management with crisp cadence, expectation alignment, and minimal delivery friction.

  • High-performing teams enabled through coaching, review rigor, and strong execution standards.

  • Visible contribution to practice growth through repeatable assets, thought leadership, and BD support.

** If you enjoy owning complex consulting engagements end-to-end, leading teams to produce analysis-rich, client-ready outcomes, and shaping solutions that influence real executive decisions — this role offers both impact and growth. **
