Job description
Location: Monroe Regional Hospital Department: ICU Weekly Hours: 36 Status: Full time Shift: Nights (United States of America) Job Summary: Sign-on Bonus: Eligible external candidates may qualify for a sign-on bonus with a two-year employment commitment to the position. The Registered Nurse (RN) is the core of Pro. Medica’s world-class patient care team.

As the coordinator of a patient’s plan of care, you will interact with the patient, families and the health care team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making.
The RN will assess and formulate a nursing diagnosis, and plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan. In this position, you will work collaboratively with fellow nurses and support staff as you strive to achieve patient care goals. As a Pro. Medica RN, you will work to improve patient care, your work environment and patient and staff satisfaction.
The above summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by the positions. It should not be considered exhaustive. REQUIREMENT S Current State license as a Registered Nurse Current CPR training. Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
Education
The RN in Michigan must complete twenty-five contact hours of continuing education within the 2-year period preceding the date of renewal. At least 2 of these hours must be in pain and pain symptom management. No more than 12 credit hours may be earned during a 24-hour period. Beginning June 1, 2022 completion of 2 hours of implicit bias training within the 5 years immediately preceding issuance of the license is required.
For initial renewals completed after June 1, 2022, completion of one hour of implicit bias training is required for each year of license since June 1, 2021. Once the initial renewal is completed, then 1 hour of implicit bias training will be required for each year of the current license cycle going forward. PREFERRED REQUIREMENT S Bachelors in nursing Pro.
