11-7 Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Responsibilities:

• Patient Care *: Assist in the implementation of resident care plans and provide basic medical care, such as dressing wounds and taking vital signs.
• Medication Administration *: Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Support RN *: Assist RNs in carrying out care plans and follow their directives.
• Resident Observation *: Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes to the RN or physician.
• Documentation *: Record patient information and updates accurately in medical charts.
• Supportive Tasks *: Assist with resident mobility and personal care activities as needed.

Qualifications:

Active LPN license in the applicable state. Experience in a geriatric care setting is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
