Job description

As a Senior Workday HCM Consultant, you will: Design, configure, and maintain Workday Core HCM components, including organizations, job profiles, positions, and supervisory structures. Configure and optimize business processes for employee lifecycle events such as hiring, transfers, promotions, and terminations. Implement eligibility rules for compensation, benefits, and other HCM-related processes.

Develop and maintain organizational hierarchies and supervisory organizations aligned with business requirements. Perform regular audits of HCM configurations, business processes, and employee data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data integrity. Support organizational changes by updating Workday configurations during restructures, annual cycles, and business initiatives.

Configure and maintain Workday security roles, domain policies, and user access controls. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HCM workflows, security, reporting, and data integrity. Develop custom reports, dashboards, and analytics using Workday Report Writer to support HR decision-making. Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration with other Workday modules and enterprise systems.

Participate in Workday implementation, enhancement, and optimization initiatives while following best practices. What You Bring to the Table: 6–8 years of experience in Workday HCM with strong expertise in Workday Core HCM. Hands-on experience configuring organizations, job profiles, positions, supervisory organizations, and business process frameworks.

Strong understanding of Workday security model, security groups, and domain policies. Experience building custom reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer. Solid understanding of HR business processes, compliance requirements, and employee lifecycle management. Experience troubleshooting Workday workflows, security issues, and data integrity challenges.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and configuration skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Workday Core HCM Certification. Experience with Workday Compensation, Recruiting, and Absence Management modules. Experience participating in Workday implementation, rollout, or optimization projects. You Should Possess the Ability To: Configure and optimize enterprise Workday Core HCM solutions. Translate business requirements into scalable and compliant Workday configurations.

Design and maintain secure, efficient, and reliable HCM business processes. Develop insightful reports and dashboards to support HR operations and decision-making. Troubleshoot complex configuration, workflow, and security issues. Collaborate effectively with HR, IT, and business stakeholders. Ensure compliance, data accuracy, and adherence to Workday best practices.
