Janitor- 2nd Shift

Description GENERAL SUMMARY: This is an hourly position in Manteno, IL that reports to the Production Manager & responsibility is to clean all areas of the facility thoroughly, with the key aim of enhancing the customer experience by having excellent standards of facility cleanliness. SCOPE OF JOB FUNCTION: Empty all waste containers (front offices/production offices/bathrooms).

Dust all offices & clean facility windows. Wash lobby & reception area floor. Clean/Sanitize Toilets/urinals/hand sinks. Sweep/mop floors (production offices). Clean refrigerator. Vacuum. Clean walls, doors/partitions of bathroom. Clean inside of lockers. Fill soap/towel dispensers (bathrooms/production floor). Dust blinds.

Wipe light switches. Work with chemicals & detergents for the purpose of cleaning & sanitizing, walls, floors, & other areas as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must have prior related experience. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Knowledge of safety regulations & procedures. Ability to work off shifts, weekends, & holidays if required. Verbal & written English communication skills. DESIRED: Detail oriented & self-directed work habits.
