JOB DESCRIPTION: Department : Engineering (Plant Maintenance.) Designation : Senior Executive 1C Qualification : B Tach (Electrical/Instrumentation) Experience : 4 to 8 years Followings will be the responsibilities of the position holder:
- To ensure compliance of GMP/GEP/GDP.
- To ensure safety compliance as per Abbott Safety Guide lines
- Operate and maintain HT/LT electrical distribution systems.
- Monitor transformers, DG sets, PCC/MCC panels, UPS systems, and power distribution networks.
- Track daily power consumption and energy performance.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and minimize downtime.
- Support energy conservation and power quality improvement projects.
- Manage raw water, soft water, purified water, and utility water systems.
- Operate and monitor WTP, RO, Softener, and ETP systems.
- Track daily water consumption and identify reduction opportunities.
- Ensure water quality meets process and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor pumps, pipelines, tanks, and distribution systems.
- Implement water conservation and reuse initiatives.
- Experience in automation engineering, as well as process control programming languages such as PLC (programmable logic controller).
- Provide prompt response to inquiries whenever there is a breakdown and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
- Ensure that equipment’s are in good working order so as to prevent disruption of activities
- Troubleshoot, analyze, repair, report on, and recommend/ perform service of SCADA, PLC, instrumentation, servo drive motor controls, and process analyzers .
- SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) is a system used to collect data from equipment and sensors in a controlled or automated environment. A SCADA engineer develops, deploys and maintains SCADA systems to control processes.
- Designing and developing new control systems, testing, maintaining and modifying existing systems;
- Assist in forecasting requirements, creating a budget and scheduling expenses for the electrical components.
- Keep record of all stock and supplies, including company’s electrical equipment
- Working in collaboration with the production team to formulate the best cost-effective manufacturing process
- Supervise electrical works when new installations are undertaken.
- Learn new skills and attend training programs in other to increase knowledge of trends and best practices in the industry
- Provide safe working environment for members of staff, and ensure electricity induced accidents and mishaps are prevented
- Purchase Instruments, fittings and components i.e HMI, PLC, IPC etc. or supervise the staff charged with the responsibility The base pay for this position is N/A In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
