Location: Perth, Perthshire, PH1 5RB Job Type: Temporary Holiday Cover Assignment Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00pm – 10:15pm (6.25 hours per week) Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour (PAYE) Assignment Dates: 14 July 2026 – 18 July 2026 Start Date: Immediate Start Available ref :10040355 Job Overview We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative to provide holiday cover within a secure mobile banking environment in Perth, Perthshire.

This is a short-term temporary assignment offering regular weekday evening hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation while working independently and adhering to all site security procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out general cleaning duties within the mobile banking unit Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floor areas Cleaning workstations, customer areas and high-touch surfaces Cleaning welfare facilities and kitchen areas where applicable Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables Emptying waste bins and disposing of waste appropriately Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation Reporting maintenance issues and health and safety concerns Ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly Candidate Requirements Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Comfortable working alone within a secure environment Must be willing to act as a key holder and operate alarm systems where required Excellent attention to detail Reliable, punctual and professional approach Good communication skills Right to work in the UK Mandatory Requirements Successful candidates must: Provide valid Right to Work documentation at induction Be comfortable using a telephone-based time and attendance system Be able to work as a lone worker Be willing to act as a key holder Be comfortable operating alarm systems Complete and sign any additional site compliance documentation where required Provide valid photographic identification prior to commencing work What We Offer £15.
