Town Planner

A well-established housebuilder is looking to appoint a Planner to join its East Midlands team. This role offers the opportunity to work client-side, supporting the delivery of residential developments from early-stage appraisal through to planning approval. This is a strong move for someone looking to transition from consultancy into a developer environment.

The Role You will play a key role within the land and planning team.

Responsibilities include

Supporting planning strategy for residential sites Preparing and coordinating planning applications Managing external consultants Liaising with local authorities and stakeholders Supporting land acquisition through planning input Monitoring planning policy and local plan changes The role offers excellent exposure to the full development lifecycle.

About You

MRTPI qualified or working towards Chartership Experience within consultancy or developer-side planning Strong understanding of the planning system Good stakeholder management skills Commercial awareness and interest in development An excellent opportunity to join a developer with a strong pipeline of sites.
