- D13AP6W Annual Salary: €36,605 Weekly Hours: 39 hrs Little Rainbows Mainstreet is looking for a full-time Playgroup Leader to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and engage children in games and activities that foster physical, social, and language skills. Prepare and maintain play areas and materials to support a wide range of children's activities. Encourage children's independence, self-confidence, and positive social interactions. Organise and oversee children's excursions and outings.
Ensure all activities comply with Health and Safety regulations, responding effectively to any injuries or emergencies. Maintain a clean and organized environment by putting away equipment and cleaning the premises after use. Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues, maintaining accurate records as required.
Requirements
Experience working in the field. Excellent communication skills. Ability to maintain a positive approach in a sometimes-challenging environment. Caring and empathetic nature. A second language would be an advantage. A positive ‘can do’ attitude and an enthusiasm for providing exceptional service to meet the needs of the company is required.
