Job description
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Finance Executive to manage the finance and accounting operations for our India entity. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in bookkeeping, payroll processing, taxation, statutory compliance, audit coordination, financial reporting, and MIS reporting.
This role requires close collaboration with internal teams, auditors, vendors, employees, and the parent company to ensure accurate financial management, regulatory compliance, and smooth business operations. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of Indian accounting standards, and the ability to independently manage critical finance and compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities. Maintain and reconcile financial records, ledgers, and accounts. Process employee payroll, salary payments, reimbursements, and related payroll activities. Manage Provident Fund (PF) compliance, filings, payments, and employee coordination. Handle GST filings, reconciliations, compliance management, and follow-up activities.
Perform income tax calculations and manage TDS deductions and statutory filings. Coordinate with auditors for statutory, financial, and accounting audits. Prepare balance sheets, financial statements, audit schedules, and supporting financial documentation. Ensure timely compliance with Income Tax, GST, PF, and other statutory regulations.
Coordinate with the parent company on invoicing, fund transfers, reporting, and finance-related communications. Generate MIS reports and provide financial insights to management. Monitor receivables, payables, vendor payments, and employee-related financial transactions. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and other finance-related operational activities. Perform additional responsibilities as required within the Finance & Accounts function. 4–5 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting. Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, PF, Payroll Processing, and Statutory Compliance. Experience handling audits, financial reporting, and tax-related activities. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word. Experience working with accounting and financial management software.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
