Waste Water Treatment Plant - Shift Labor

Incumbents are responsible for providing assistance in the operations and maintenance of water/wastewater treatment facilities under direct supervision. Wastewater Treatment Plant assignment (associated duties): Responsibilities may include assisting in removal of toxic chemical and harmful organisms from the wastewater by recording reading from meters, gauges; regulating the flow of wastewater by controlling valves/gates/motors; assisting in making adjustments to the amounts of chemicals used in the wastewater treatment process; performing general cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks necessary to keep plant facilities, equipment, vehicles and tools in operable condition such as performing minor repairs, replacing parts, washing and cleaning equipment.

This position is contingent on the successful completion of both a pre-employment background check as well as drug test.
