Job description
The Home Loan Consultant is responsible for receiving, evaluating, and reviewing loan applications. Actively promotes Credit Union mortgage products and evaluates member’s credit criteria to find a suitable loan product to meet member needs. Obtains and verifies necessary information and prepares documents for processing.
Communicates loan status to all involved parties including Borrower, Seller and Realtor as needed. Advises members of loan approval or denials.
