About the role
The role will be central to building cross-mitigation curriculum frameworks across Mathematics, Financial Literacy, and Science, while also supporting language integration through English and Punjabi. The curriculum is expected to be designed for the age bands 10-12 years, 12–14 years, and 14–16 years, with strong alignment to experiential learning,rural/community relevance, project-based pedagogy, and interdisciplinary capability building.
What you’ll do – Design interdisciplinary curriculum, lesson plans, and learning journeys for learners aged 10–16. Develop project-based and experiential learning modules linked to themes such as environment, sustainability, health, livelihoods, and community development. Create assessment frameworks, competency trackers, and learning outcome rubrics.
Build facilitator guides, training materials, and implementation support tools. Ensure curriculum is academically rigorous, multilingual (English & Punjabi), and field friendly. Continuously refine curriculum based on learner outcomes and field feedback.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/master’s in education, Curriculum Design, Instructional Design, Child Development, or related field.
- 10+ years in curriculum design, instructional design, academic content development, or education program development.
- Experience designing interdisciplinary, project-based, or experiential learning programs.
- Strong understanding of middle-school and adolescent learning (10–16 years).
- Experience in NGOs, schools, education programs, or learning organizations preferred.
- Exposure to multilingual curriculum environments (English & Punjabi) is a plus.
