Distribution Automation Technician

Position Summary

This position is responsible for performing duties required in the commissioning, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of distribution protective, regulatory, switching and communication systems associated with the SCADA/ADMS infrastructure. Provide leadership and guidance end-to-end-user support to operators, engineers, and other SCADA users to ensure proper operation of protection relaying schemes and SCADA systems to eliminate or limit damage, prevent the spread of system disturbances, reduce the number and duration of customer outages while ensuring the system remains compliant with Co.
