• Conduct thorough physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic assessments for infants, children, and adolescents.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions, including respiratory infections, gastrointestinal disorders, developmental delays, and chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to specialists when necessary.
• Provide evidence-based preventive care, including routine well-child visits, developmental screenings, and age-appropriate vaccinations.
• Educate parents and caregivers on child health, nutrition, safety, behavioral development, and developmental milestones.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Participate in hospital quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and continuing medical education programs.
• Respond to on-call emergencies and provide timely care during urgent pediatric health events.
• Contribute to pediatric health outreach programs and community wellness initiatives. --- ### Requirements
• MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics (MD/DM in Pediatrics or DCH).
• Valid and active registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council. - 3–5 years of hands-on clinical experience in a hospital or pediatric outpatient setting.
• Proven expertise in diagnosing and managing common and complex pediatric illnesses.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust with children and their families.
• Proficiency in pediatric emergency care, growth monitoring, and developmental assessment.
• In-depth knowledge of immunization schedules, pediatric pharmacology, and evidence-based guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a high-pressure clinical environment.
• Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous learning.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and hospital information management tools. ---
