Summary: The stores Support officer plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of farm supply and egg storage operations. Responsible for the accurate receiving, recording, and issuing of inventory, this position ensures optimal stock management, product quality, and compliance with documentation standards.
By monitoring storage conditions, conducting regular stock counts, and maintaining precise records, the specialist contributes directly to reducing waste, minimizing losses, and supporting smooth operational workflows. This role is essential to the supply chain’s reliability and the farm’s overall productivity, with a strong focus on accuracy, accountability, and timely reporting.
Responsibilities
- Receive, record, and issue farm supplies and eggs in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date stock ledger and inventory system records.
- Monitor and control storage conditions to ensure product quality and safety.
- Conduct regular stock counts and perform reconciliation to verify accuracy.
- Report inventory levels and discrepancies promptly to the Store Supervisor.
- Support efforts to reduce stock losses, damages, and shrinkage through proactive monitoring.
