Job description
We are looking for a GCP Developer with 2–4 years of experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and production support. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing cloud-based applications, supporting production environments, and ensuring high availability of cloud services. Experience with data operations, CI/CD pipelines, and multiple cloud platforms is highly preferred.
The role requires working in a 24×7 rotational shift environment to provide continuous production support.
Key Responsibilities
Provide production support for applications and services hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Monitor cloud infrastructure, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure system availability. Perform root cause analysis and resolve incidents within defined SLAs. Support data operations, including monitoring, validation, and issue resolution.
Develop, maintain, and optimize cloud-based applications and services. Implement and support CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments. Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth production releases. Monitor application performance and recommend improvements for reliability and scalability.
Maintain documentation for production support processes, incident management, and deployment activities. Participate in a 24×7 rotational shift schedule (3 shifts) to support business-critical applications. Key Skills & Qualifications 2–4 years of experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Mandatory: Hands-on experience in production support.
Strong knowledge of GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Monitoring. Experience in data operations, including data processing, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and deployment pipelines. Exposure to multiple cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure is preferred.
Good understanding of Linux/Unix environments and cloud networking concepts. Knowledge of scripting using Shell, Python, or similar languages is an advantage. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools for cloud environments. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
