The Role: Join the bar team at one of Auckland’s most iconic rooftop venues, La Zeppa. We’re on the lookout for an energetic, skilled Bartender to join our team in a part‑time, permanent role. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a fast‑paced, vibrant environment with real pathways into leadership roles across the Cook Brothers Hospitality Group.

What You’ll Be Doing As part of the La Zeppa crew, you’ll help keep our venue pumping.

Your responsibilities

Greeting and engaging guests to create warm, memorable experiences Preparing and serving cocktails, beers, wines, coffees, mixed drinks and non‑alcoholic beverages Operating the bar during service, including setup, restocking, and pack‑down Following opening and closing procedures with accuracy Promoting products, upselling, and supporting venue sales targets Handling payments and POS transactions Maintaining bar cleanliness, washing glassware, tapping kegs and rotating stock Supporting the duty manager and wider team as required What We Offer We’re committed to supporting our people and helping them grow: Competitive pay with clear progression pathways ($24–$28 per hour) Industry‑leading training and development opportunities Staff discounts across all Cook Brothers venues Opportunities to work across multiple sites A supportive, encouraging and fun team A stable, ongoing role with consistent hours About La Zeppa La Zeppa serves up spectacular sundeck sessions for those epic alfresco vibes.
