Position: General Manager Industry: Seed Industry Experience: Minimum 15 Years Location: As per company requirement Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager with a minimum of 15 years of experience in the seed industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all key business functions, including Sales, Production, Procurement, Logistics, Operations, and cross-functional teams, while driving business growth, operational excellence, and profitability.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee Sales, Production, Procurement, Logistics, and Operations teams. Develop and execute business strategies to achieve organizational goals. Drive sales growth and market expansion across assigned territories. Ensure efficient seed production planning, processing, quality, and inventory management.
Manage procurement of raw materials, packaging, and vendor relationships. Oversee logistics, warehousing, and distribution to ensure timely product delivery. Monitor budgets, cost control, and profitability across departments. Coordinate with senior management on business planning and performance reviews. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
Build, mentor, and develop high-performing cross-functional teams. Identify business opportunities and implement process improvements for operational efficiency. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field (MBA preferred). Minimum 15 years of experience in the Seed Industry.
Proven experience in managing Sales, Production, Procurement, Logistics, and overall business operations. Strong leadership, strategic planning, and people management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities. Strong analytical, financial, and operational management skills.
