Job description

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling

  • Prepare MEP execution strategies, work breakdown structures, and project timelines.
  • Coordinate with architects, civil teams, consultants, and clients.
  • Conduct resource planning for materials, labor, and equipment. Site Execution & Supervision
  • Supervise day-to-day MEP activities on site (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting, etc.).
  • Ensure work is done as per approved drawings, standards, and specifications.
  • Interface with subcontractors and vendors to ensure smooth execution. Quality Assurance & Control
  • Implement QA/QC procedures related to MEP works.
  • Review and approve method statements, checklists, and test reports.
  • Ensure third-party inspections and approvals are in place. Testing & Commissioning
  • Lead testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with OEMs/vendors if needed. Progress Monitoring & Reporting
  • Maintain daily/weekly progress reports.
  • Monitor cost, schedule, and scope performance.
  • Prepare billing and work measurement documentation. Health, Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to HSE protocols.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and site safety inspections related to MEP works.

Qualifications

& Experience:

  • Education: B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: 7–15 years in managing MEP works in mid to large-scale construction projects.
  • Technical Skills: o Proficiency in reading MEP drawings (AutoCAD, preferred) o Understanding of NBC, BIS, IS Codes, and local compliance o Familiarity with project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera)
  • Location Preference: Candidates currently based in or willing to relocate to Patna.
