Job Summary
The CT Technologist utilizes computerized tomography scanners to produce cross-section images of patient’s internal organs and tissues for diagnosis of medical issues. The CT Technologist may also perform duties as a staff technologist in Diagnostic X-Ray or other area as required.
Job Responsibilities
Produce images using CT scanner and assist Radiologist in viewing and reconstructing images. Assess patient needs and determine appropriate interventions. Provide for the emotional and physical comfort and safety or patient. Accurately and safely administer contrast material to the patient in preparation for the CT study.
