Job description
Duties & Functions: Provide bullet points in order of importance
- Operate biodri to ensure biosecurity requirements are met for livestock trailers.
- Assist with movement of livestock trailers from location to location to meet transport needs.
- Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean work environment for all employees and to ensure adherence to biosecurity.
- Manage shop inventory, including inventory tracking and ordering and sourcing parts and supplies.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance of fleet vehicles, tractors, and other Company owned vehicles.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on semi-trucks, livestock trailers, and equipment and truck wash related facilities such as separators, pumps, power doors, and the biodri.
- Inspect tractors and trailers for any defects that may affect safety.
- Track labor expenses through use of spreadsheets and software to allocate costs to the proper department.
- Operate equipment such as a skid steer or forklift.
- Wash and sanitize all aspects of semi tractors and trailers using a high volume hose.

- Perform all duties in adherence to biosecurity protocols. Position Qualifications: Minimum Education: High School Diploma Major(s): Minimum Years of Experience: None required License or Certification: CDL required Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of:
- Vehicles and their related mechanical systems
