Experienced Domiciliary Care Worker (Driver) Oxford, Banbury, Chinnor, Thame, Reading, Faringdon, Witney and Abingdon £15.00 per hour 25p per mile mileage allowance 28 days paid holiday Full Time and Part Time Positions Available Please note: Sponsorship is not available for this role. Make Every Visit Count We're looking for experienced Domiciliary Care Workers to join a well-established home care provider supporting people to remain safe, independent and comfortable in their own homes.

This role is ideal for carers who already have experience within domiciliary care or residential care and are confident delivering high-quality, person-centred support from day one. Most of the people you'll support are older adults, alongside a small number of younger adults living with mental health conditions or complex needs.

Every individual receives tailored support, and you'll have the opportunity to build trusted relationships while making a genuine difference every day. Locations Care is provided across:

  • Oxford
  • Banbury
  • Chinnor
  • Thame
  • Reading
  • Faringdon
  • Witney
  • Abingdon A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential. Shift Patterns Flexible shifts are available between:
  • Early mornings from 6:30am or 7:45am
  • Lunch visits between 12:00pm and 2:30pm
  • Afternoon and evening visits until approximately 8:30pm
  • Late evening support where required The rota is prepared one month in advance, helping you plan your work-life balance. Full-time carers are typically offered around 8 hours per day, while part-time opportunities are available from two or three days each week. Alternate weekends are preferred for full-time positions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver personal care with dignity and compassion
  • Support clients with daily routines and personal hygiene
  • Assist with medication where required
  • Prepare light meals and refreshments
  • Encourage independence and promote wellbeing
  • Provide companionship and emotional reassurance
  • Maintain accurate care records
  • Follow individual care plans and safeguarding procedures
  • Report any concerns promptly and professionally What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience within domiciliary care or residential care
  • Confident delivering care independently
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Reliable, organised and professional
  • Caring, patient and compassionate
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexible approach to working hours and travel Female carers are required for the majority of care packages due to client preferences, although male carers are welcomed for selected packages, particularly within the Chinnor and Thame areas.
