Concord Academy Coach

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and conduct practices that develop athletes' skills and knowledge of the sport. Prepare student-athletes for competition through instruction, conditioning, and strategic planning. Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes respect, integrity, discipline, and sportsmanship. Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, travel, and team activities.

Communicate effectively with students, parents, school administration, and athletic staff. Promote student safety and proper use of athletic equipment. Serve as a positive role model for students both on and off the field/court.

Qualifications

High school diploma required; college degree preferred. Previous coaching and/or playing experience in the assigned sport preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to motivate and mentor students from diverse backgrounds.
