Regulatory Technician IV

Job Title: Regulatory Technician IV Compensation: $42.69–$54.75/hr Location: 935 N. Eldridge Pkwy, Houston, TX 77079 Target Start Date: 9/30/26 End Date: 3/31/27 Scope Key Accountabilities

• Prepares, submits, tracks, and maintains routine regulatory filings, notifications, permits, and reports required by federal, state, and local agencies under the direction of regulatory staff.
• Maintains regulatory tracking tools, databases, and document repositories to ensure accurate, complete, and audit-ready records.
• Provides administrative, data management, permitting, and regulatory compliance support for upstream oil and gas operations under established procedures and workflows. Required and Preferred Skills and Experience
• Three or more years of experience supporting oil and gas regulatory filings, permitting, reporting, records management, compliance, or related administrative functions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple filings, deadlines, and data tracking requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Experience with Well. View and Texas Railroad Commission online filing systems is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. Manager’s Note No approved expenses. If an overnight trip/travel is needed with the team, COP would cover the cost.
