Job Description What you will be doing: Manage family law cases from initial consultation through resolution and trial. Meet with clients to evaluate legal issues, develop case strategies, and provide ongoing counsel. Draft and review pleadings, petitions, motions, declarations, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.

Analyze financial records, discovery materials, and case-related documentation. Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies. Handle all phases of discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests. Represent clients at hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and court appearances. Take and defend depositions.

Prepare cases for trial and serve as lead or supporting counsel during trial proceedings. Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to achieve favorable client outcomes. Experience you will need: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Active license and good standing with the Washington State Bar, or ability to obtain admission promptly. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and case management abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced litigation environment. 3-7 years of family law litigation experience preferred.

Experience handling hearings, depositions, and trials. Strong negotiation and client counseling skills. Demonstrated ability to independently manage a caseload.
