Lead the Accommodation Team at a Thriving Airlie Beach Icon Reef Gateway Hotel is a busy, well-established venue within Australian Venue Co., currently undergoing exciting renovations — with even more ahead for the property. Reporting to the Venue Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the accommodation department, ensuring high standards across guest experience, presentation, team performance, compliance and operational efficiency.

What's on Offer Salary package of $79,550 Career progression opportunities across Australian Venue Co. venues Staff discounts across food and beverage Supportive and energetic team culture Opportunity to be part of a busy, well-established Airlie Beach venue currently undergoing exciting renovations Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day accommodation operations Oversee reservations, check-in/check-out and room allocation processes Maintain high standards across guest experience, cleanliness and presentation Manage guest feedback and customer service recovery professionally Supervise, train and support accommodation team members Ensure compliance, safety and operational procedures are followed Complete operational reporting and support continuous improvement initiatives Monitor occupancy, room standards and operational efficiencies Support a positive, accountable and high-performing team culture Work closely with the broader venue team to deliver a seamless guest experience What We're Looking For Previous experience within accommodation, hotel or hospitality management Experience using RMS or a similar property management system is essential Strong knowledge of reservations and accommodation operations Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong guest service and problem-solving skills Hands-on leadership style with strong attention to detail Flexible availability including weekends and peak periods when required A proactive operator who takes pride in standards, team culture and guest experience If you're looking for your next hospitality leadership opportunity within a vibrant and growing venue group, we'd love to hear from you.
