The Role: The purpose of the role is to provide a first-class end-to-end service for SME clients.
Responsibilities
- To provide a first-class proactive service to clients and prospective SME clients through the adoption and implementation of the Client Journey
- To work collaboratively as a team to write, renew and service SME clients using the full end-to-end broking process.
- Responding to client issues in a timely manner.
- To build positive working relationships with Claims and the wider broking teams for technical or Client referral.
- To act as a point of reference with insurers in negotiating terms for Clients.
- Always working to our business operational standards, policies and processes.
- To use client applications accurately and as defined by the business including invoicing and maintaining data quality.
- To look for opportunities to satisfy client needs with other services and products, passing those opportunities to internal colleagues and our ecosystem.
- To maintain own learning and CPD.
- Alignment and demonstration of our clients’ values (PACE).
Requirements
Experience/Skills
- Sound technical knowledge of the Insurance Industry with reference to commercial insurance.
- Demonstrable ability to provide a responsive first-class service to clients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and administration skills.
- Active listening skills.
- Knowledge of the wider offering.
- Ability to organise workflow, prioritise tasks and manage own time.
- Confident user of technology and software e.g. MS Office and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of broking processes and regulatory standards.
- Working knowledge of FCA compliance rules.
- Competent user of insurance client system; Acturis an advantage.
