- Sourcing / purchasing Strategic direction of essential food and supplies
- Supplier relationships - managing existing
- New supply distribution contracts negotiating
- Inventory controls development for new food supplies
- Efficiency supply chain - developing strategies for improving including performance KPis.
- Supply chain is cost-effective, reliable, and compliant.
- Purchasing methods large-scale diversified commodities / government, non-profit, and contractual requirements and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
§ Direct purchase, sourcing, distribution of food and supplies. § Procurement / sourcing strategies Strategy Development cost-effective. § inventory management Set up goals operational need and financials. § Manage inventory across the organization. § System tracking shipments, inventory, supply of goods. § Directs sourcing from reliable suppliers and vendors.
§ Build long-term relationships with vendors suppliers. § Food Sourcing process from donors, farmers etc.. § Negotiates with suppliers vendors to secure advantageous terms. § Create a purchase order system; organizes and confirms delivery of goods and services. § Report system set up quality, quantity, costs, standardization, value analysis, and price trends food materials.
§ Oversee Annual capital expense budget. § Supervise procurement sourcing functions. § Attend State / National conferences meetings. § Proven efficiency and effectiveness with Strong analytical skills Requirements Skills needed:
- ** Genuine Passion to change lives working at Non-Profit – This is the most important need for this placement ** § 7+ years of corporate experience in purchasing, sourcing, supplier performance management, supply chain, and inventory strategies & practices. § Strategic sourcing – Proven delivery in large scale Supply chain. § Team & Staff management
- Min 4+ years § Degree associated subject: Business Administration, Purchasing etc.. § Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. § Supply chain Management - large-scale purchasing operations or related government procurement activities. § Change management strategy development. § Supplier contract management Negotiation. § Embrace working with diverse economic, social, and political backgrounds.
