We are a specialty nursing practice looking to expand our patient and clinical support offerings. Our mission is prevention and we do this by taking care of feet. We are also a research and teaching facility expanding the knowledge of care of feet and the people attached to them. We are seeking a dedicated whole person Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical, education and research team.

The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive clinical background, a willingness to explore alternative pathways to deliver preventive care, comfort touching patients and managing power tools, and expertise in patient assessment and a whole person approach to care of a patient. The care that we provide is evidence based but we currently do not diagnose or prescribe.

Your role

will encompass a broad spectrum of responsibilities aimed at improving health outcomes and enhancing patient satisfaction through evidence-based practices and compassionate care. Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments - we call it a toe to head assessment.
• utilize this knowledge to create and implement the plan of care
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned patient needs.
• Utilize our electronic health record (EHR) system and other technologies.
• Educate patients on health coaching topics like nutrition, medication adherence, and disease prevention strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards including OSHA protocols for infection control and aseptic techniques while maintaining meticulous medical documentation.
• Support, mentor and encourage others.

Qualifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification from an accredited program
• Excellent communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient care; ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while adhering to HIPAA standards for confidentiality.
