Position Overview
We are seeking Early Childhood Educators who are: Passionate about child-centered, inquiry-based learning Inspired by Reggio Emilia or emergent curriculum approaches Warm, reflective, and relationship-driven Collaborative team players who value community and connection This is an ideal opportunity for educators who want to grow professionally in a dynamic, reflective learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with teaching teams to design engaging, emergent curriculum Observe and document children’s learning to inform classroom experiences Foster children’s curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills Build strong, responsive relationships with children and families Create nurturing, inclusive classroom environments Maintain classroom health, safety, and organization standards Participate in reflective practice and team collaboration Uphold school policies and maintain confidentiality Qualifications Associate’s Degree with a minimum 6 credits in Early Childhood Education
- Required Experience in early childhood education preferred Strong understanding of child development principles Familiarity with Reggio Emilia or play-based learning a plus Excellent communication and collaboration skills Warm, flexible, and growth-oriented mindset Compensation & Benefits $19.25–$25/hour, based on experience Health insurance (majority employer-paid) 403(b) retirement plan Dental and vision insurance Paid time off, including: All Jewish holidays Winter break Spring break (1 week) 8 additional paid days off Daily free lunch (kosher meals) Snacks and treats provided Reduced tuition for staff children (if applicable) Ongoing professional development opportunities Why Moriah ECC?
