
Job description
Assess patients’ physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans Provide therapy to improve daily living skills (ADLs) such as dressing, feeding, and writing Work with individuals with conditions such as: Autism Spectrum Disorder Cerebral palsy Developmental delay Stroke Implement sensory integration therapy and motor skill development activities Recommend adaptive equipment and assistive devices Train patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home programs Monitor progress and update treatment plans Maintain accurate documentation and reports Collaborate with psychologists, speech therapists, doctors, and educators Requirements Requirements Strong understanding of occupational therapy principles Knowledge of sensory integration and motor development Excellent observation and assessment skills Patience, empathy, and interpersonal skills Ability to create individualized therapy plans Good documentation and reporting skill
