Manning Global, an Internationally renowned staffing and managed services organization specializing in providing staffing solutions for leading corporations in AI, IT & Telecoms, Engineering, Digital Media, Automotive and Renewable Energy is hiring for a Senior Procurement Specialist to join one of its clients projects and team in Hungary.
Position/Title: Senior Procurement Specialist Employment: Full time Contract Type: Permanent Start Date: Soon as possible Location: Hungary, Maglod Office (Onsite) Salary Framework: HUF 800K to 1.1M per month (max) Contact: Talent Acquisition Manager on: +49 (0) 89 23 88 98 673 Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and operational requirements.
Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, supplier evaluation, negotiation, contract management, and vendor performance monitoring. Lead procurement activities related to logistics operations, especially last-mile delivery services, transportation, fleet, and operational suppliers. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality and operational efficiency.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements with suppliers and logistics partners. Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and stakeholders. Monitor supplier performance, ensure SLA compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and cost structures to support strategic decision-making.
Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies, governance standards, and operational requirements. Collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, Legal, and other business functions to support business growth. Prepare procurement reports, spend analysis, and performance dashboards for management review. Experience/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of procurement experience, preferably within logistics, e-commerce, transportation, or last-mile delivery industries. Strong experience managing logistics vendors, transportation partners, and operational suppliers. Proven negotiation skills with the ability to deliver cost optimization and supplier improvements.
Experience with procurement systems. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment. Fluency in Hungarian and English.
