Job Title: Playgroup Leader Employer: Phoenix Childcare Limited Locations: Luttrellstown Community Centre, Porterstown Road, Clonsilla, Dublin 15 / Huntstown Community Centre, Huntstown Way, Mulhuddart, Dublin 15 / Tristian Square, Chapelizod Hill Road, Dublin 20 Annual Salary: €37,544 Weekly Hours: 40 hrs Key Responsibilities: Supervise and engage children in games and activities that foster physical, social, and language skills.
Prepare and maintain play areas and materials to support a wide range of children's activities. Encourage children's independence, self-confidence, and positive social interactions. Organise and oversee children's excursions and outings. Ensure all activities comply with Health and Safety regulations, responding effectively to any injuries or emergencies.
Maintain a clean and organized environment by putting away equipment and cleaning the premises after use. Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues, maintaining accurate records as required.
Requirements
Experience working in the field. Excellent communication skills. Ability to maintain a positive approach in a sometimes-challenging environment. Caring and empathetic nature. Fluency in English is required. A second language would be an advantage. A positive ‘can do’ attitude and an enthusiasm for providing exceptional service to meet the needs of the company is required.
