Job description
We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead / Architect – Java with 10–13 years of experience to lead the design, development, and modernization of enterprise applications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coding, building Proof of Concepts (POCs), mentoring engineering teams, and driving scalable technical solutions while remaining actively involved in software development.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of enterprise Java applications. Design scalable, secure, and high-performance application architectures. Build Proof of Concepts (POCs) to evaluate new technologies and architectural approaches. Drive modernization of legacy monolithic applications into Microservices-based architecture.
Identify suitable business use cases for Microservices and Apache Kafka implementation. Perform hands-on coding using Java and the Spring ecosystem. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize application performance. Mentor and guide development teams on architecture, design patterns, and coding practices.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams. Participate in technical estimations, architecture discussions, and solution design. Contribute to CI/CD adoption, application scalability, and engineering excellence.
Required Skills
& Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 10–13 years of hands-on experience in Java application development. Strong expertise in: Java 21 Spring Boot Spring MVC Spring Security Spring Cloud Spring Data Extensive experience in designing and developing Microservices.
Hands-on experience migrating legacy monolithic applications to Microservices architecture. Strong knowledge of: Apache Kafka Messaging Systems Redis Oracle Database Git Jenkins Experience with RESTful APIs and distributed system design. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Design Patterns, and Software Engineering principles.
