OFFICE ASSISTANT FOR DEAN'S OFFICE Division: CAS Department: Dean's Office Experience: Entry-level Job Code: FWSCASOFFASTDN Supervisor/Reports To: Donna Hunt Start Date: 8/24/2026 Support the Dean’s Office by maintaining supplies, providing clerical assistance, and assisting with events. Ideal for students who are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a professional environment.
Responsibilities
Organize and maintain supplies in classrooms and collaboration hub – CT, P Assist with and contribute to events hosted by professional staff – C, TW, P Work independently and efficiently; use available resources to direct guests – CT, P Make campus deliveries and provide clerical support including proofreading, photocopying, and filing – TW, P Work on additional projects as assigned – TW Use MS Word, Excel, multi-line phone system, and compile data using software programs – T Competencies/Skills: Communication (C), Teamwork (TW), Professionalism (P), Career & Self Development (CSD), Critical Thinking (CT), Community Transformation (CTR), Leadership (L), Technology (T) Preferred Skills: Word; written & verbal communication, customer-focused, willingness to learn new things.
Work Schedule: 5–10 hours per week, Monday–Friday between 8am–5pm, varies depending on availability. Work Conditions: Normal office environment. Physical Demands: Keyboarding, reaching/handling, stooping/kneeling.
