Registered Nurse- Gastroenterology

Beloit Health System is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN)to join ourGastroenterology (GI) team at Beloit Memorial Hospital. In this role, you will provide exceptional nursing care to patients with a variety of gastrointestinal conditions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality outcomes and an outstanding patient experience.

• Shift: 1st

• Schedule: 7a-5:30p

• Hours per week: 40 hours per week

The Registered Nurse in Gastroenterologywill:

• Provide patient and family education consistently and appropriately.

• Consistently identify patient/family learning needs and implements appropriate education utilizing written, and/or verbal, audiovisual material.

• Strictly abide with hospital infection control and patient safety policies and procedures.

• Consistently perform all basic skills required for nursing as described on unit-based.

• Appropriately assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the patient's plan of care.

• Interpret assessment data and develops an individualized plan of care which will lead to achievable patient outcomes.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program. ADN, BSN, or MSN accepted.

• Require WI Registered Nurse license at hire. (if multistate compact license, must get WI within 3 months).

• IL RN license within 3 months of hire.

• Must be CPR certified within 3 months of hire.

• ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.

• Previous experience desired in surgical services or gastroenterology.
