Clinical Pharmacist, Emergency Care Center

Provides patient care with an interdisciplinary team, focusing on therapeutic drug monitoring including sedation, pain, and antimicrobial monitoring. Carries out IV to PO protocol when appropriate. Provides recommendations for appropriate stewardship of antimicrobials. Documents all interventions and activities appropriately.

Serves as a drug information expert resource and provides information to patients and clinicians as needed. Performs drug distribution services, patient monitoring, preparation of IV admixtures and sterile products, drug information, inventory control, checking work of various aspects of technician job functions, maintains documentation.

Provides input for pharmacy technician and support personnel as needed.
