Job description
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Nuclear Medicine Consultant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing and interpreting nuclear medicine imaging studies, administering radiopharmaceuticals, and providing accurate diagnostic and therapeutic services. The candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and optimal clinical outcomes.
Perform, supervise, and interpret nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures, including PET-CT, SPECT, and gamma camera imaging. Evaluate patient histories and determine appropriate nuclear medicine investigations and therapies. Administer and oversee the use of radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety regulations and clinical protocols.
Provide radionuclide therapy services where applicable. Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment planning. Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance protocols. Maintain accurate patient records, imaging reports, and clinical documentation.
Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and academic activities. Stay updated with advances in nuclear medicine, molecular imaging, and targeted radionuclide therapies.
Requirements
MBBS with MD/DNB in Nuclear Medicine (or equivalent recognized qualification). Valid medical registration/license to practice. Expertise in nuclear medicine imaging interpretation and radionuclide therapies.
