A Day in Your Life at MKS/Atotech As a Lead Accountant / Finance Reporting , you will serve as the key accounting professional for the local entity, ensuring accurate accounting records, compliance with local regulations, and timely financial reporting to Headquarters. This role is primarily focused on accounting activities (approximately 70%), combined with financial reporting and planning responsibilities (approximately 30%).

You will act as a trusted finance partner, maintaining the integrity of financial data while supporting management and Headquarters with accurate reporting and analysis. You Will Make an Impact By Accounting Responsibilities (approx. 70%) Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of accounting records and supporting documentation.

Accounting for fixed assets, intangible assets, inventories, and other balance sheet accounts. Accounting for employee expense reports related to long-term business trips Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. Coordinating and supporting external and internal audits. Ensuring compliance with company policies, internal controls, and local regulatory requirements.

Supporting tax reporting and statutory compliance obligations. Acting as the local accounting expert and trusted advisor on accounting-related matters. Financial Reporting & Planning Responsibilities (approx. 30%) Preparing monthly financial reporting packages for Headquarters, including: Profit & Loss Statements (P&L) Balance Sheets Cash Flow Statements Preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

Analyzing financial results and explaining variances versus budget and forecast. Preparing short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts. Supporting management reporting and financial performance analysis. Acting as the key liaison between local finance operations and Headquarters. Participating in the implementation and improvement of accounting, reporting, and analytical systems and processes.

Contributing to the development and enhancement of financial policies, procedures, and controls. Skills You Bring Higher education in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience. Previous experience as a Lead Accountant, Deputy Chief Accountant, Senior Accountant, or in a similar position.

Strong knowledge of local accounting standards, statutory reporting requirements, and financial statement preparation. Proven experience managing month-end and year-end closing processes. Experience preparing management and financial reports. Strong proficiency in MS Excel and 1C. Ability to independently manage accounting activities and ensure compliance with local regulations.

English at A2-B1 level or higher; sufficient to work with reporting templates and communicate occasionally with international stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail, accuracy, and sense of accountability. Well-organized, structured, and capable of managing priorities effectively.

Knowledge of IFRS is considered a strong advantage. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management is a plus.
