Job description

Posting Title: Gynecologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹1.5LPM to 2LPM Work Experience: 0-1 year Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive gynecological and obstetric evaluations, including history taking, physical examinations, and clinical assessments. Conduct normal vaginal deliveries with a focus on maternal and neonatal safety and well-being.

Perform cesarean section deliveries as required, ensuring adherence to surgical protocols and infection control standards. Carry out laparoscopic gynecological surgeries, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as tubal ligation, myomectomy, and ovarian cystectomy. Interpret and utilize ultrasound (USG) imaging for prenatal monitoring, fetal assessment, and gynecological diagnosis.

Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with menstrual disorders, infertility, reproductive tract infections, and pregnancy-related complications. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including obstetricians, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff, to ensure coordinated patient care. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Participate in on-call rotations and emergency obstetric care as required. Stay current with advances in gynecological and obstetric medicine through continuous professional development and participation in hospital training programs.

Requirements

MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (DGO/MD/DM in OBGYN). Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or equivalent regulatory body. Proven clinical competence in normal delivery, cesarean section, laparoscopic surgery, and ultrasound (USG) interpretation.

Strong understanding of maternal-fetal medicine, prenatal care, and emergency obstetric management. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced clinical environments. Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and continuous quality improvement.

Willingness to participate in on-call duties and hospital-based training initiatives. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and digital documentation.
