Transaction Banking Services Professional (CTA)

Main Responsibilities

• Partner with Client Services team of Corporate Trust and Loans Agency for all transactions Perform the checker role and duties of Loans Agency, including but not limited to: Perform loan agency operation function including drawdown, rollover, repayment/prepayment/interest and fee calculation and distribution Prepare audit and bank confirmation; Perform the checker role and duties of IPA, including but not limited to: Coordinate with ICSD/CMU and other Clearing House for primary closing Provide primary settlement support in capacity as IPA and / or Settlement Agent Arrange payments of the bonds proceeds to Issuer / Common Depositary for non-syndication / syndication closing Arrange Interest rate fixing, send rate fixing advice to relevant parties, effect coupon and redemption payments to bondholders; Perform the checker role and duties of Common Depository, including but not limited to: Liaise for the bonds closing logistics in accordance with ICSD requirement Collect and safe-keep the Global Certificate; report the eligibility to ICSD for electronic trading; support the mark up/down events and other corporate action events; Credit the primary bonds into the IPA / Settlement Agent account to kick off the primary settlement; Pay the issuance amount to the Issuer; Manage and coordinate the periodically coupon payments and principal repayments; Handle the bonds maturity and destroy of the Global Certificate Prepare daily or monthly reports for management or regulatory purpose Support ad hoc tasks and project UAT Requirements
• Degree holder or above with good business acumen At least 5 years of relevant work experience with strong knowledge product knowledge in syndicated loan agency, IPA and Common Depository with minimum 2 years at checker level Good knowledge of market best practice; familiar with the settlement & clearing process with ICSD (Euroclear and Clearstream) / CMU and other Clearing Houses Familiar with RF, DF, DVP, RVP, Swift MT540, MT541, MT542, MT543, MT202, MT210 as well as operations with Easyway, Xact, and CMU Capable to lead, drive and deliver projects relating to Transaction Banking / Corporate Trust and Agency business Attentive to detail, strong presentation and communication skill, team player Strong drive and commitment, hardworking, excellent ability in problem solving, perform under pressure and deliver on schedule Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new environment / platforms for the business as required Willing to work overtime Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua Good communication & interpersonal skills to cultivate and build strong team work; able to negotiate, persuade, & influence for desirable results Good knowledge in PC application (Words & Excel) To apply, please submit your application along with your resume to recruithk@asia.ccb.com.
