Roads & Grounds Laborer

Under the direction of the Roads and Grounds Working Supervisor, the incumbent performs heavy physical activity during snow removal and skilled tasks related to the year round clean-up and maintenance of Tribal-owned roadways, grounds, equipment, and facilities requiring general labor work. May be transferred into any division within the Public Works Department as needed or assigned.

Completion of High School or GED is a plus and some experience in performing manual work required. Must be able to safely operate equipment and tools such as mowers, chain saws, snow blowers, wood chippers, etc. Must be able to safely operate pickup trucks to plow snow and haul materials to and from work sites.
