Job Description Position Title: Senior Executive – Revenue Recognition Function: Finance / Accounting Experience: 2–3 years Qualification: CA / CMA / ACCA Location: Vadodara --- Role Overview The Senior Executive – Revenue Recognition will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely revenue accounting in compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP).

The role includes hands-on involvement in revenue recognition, month-end close activities, and consolidated financial statement preparation, working closely with cross-functional teams. --- Key Responsibilities Revenue Recognition & Accounting

  • Perform revenue recognition in accordance with Ind AS 115 / IFRS 15 / ASC 606, including identification of performance obligations and timing of revenue.
  • Review contracts and support assessment of accounting treatment, including variable consideration, contract modifications, and allocation of transaction price.
  • Ensure accurate accounting for deferred revenue, accruals, rebates, credits, and adjustments. Financial Close & Reporting
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes related to revenue and receivables.
  • Prepare and reconcile revenue-related GL accounts, supporting schedules, and reconciliations.
  • Assist in preparation of consolidated financial statements and disclosures. Compliance & Controls
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements.
  • Support statutory, internal, and external audits by providing schedules, explanations, and documentation.
  • Assist in documenting revenue accounting policies and SOPs. Stakeholder & Cross-functional Support
  • Coordinate with Sales, Legal, Operations, and Billing teams to resolve revenue-related issues.
  • Provide finance support for deal structuring from an accounting perspective.
  • Respond to reporting requests from management and stakeholders. Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve revenue accounting processes, controls, and automation.
  • Support system enhancements and finance transformation initiatives where applicable. --- Required Qualifications & Experience
  • CA / CMA / ACCA (Qualified)
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in revenue recognition, accounting, and financial reporting
  • Hands-on experience with Revenue Recognition standards (Ind AS 115 / IFRS 15 / ASC 606)
  • Exposure to consolidated financial statements and month-end close processes
  • Experience in a corporate accounting, shared services, or Big 4 environment preferred --- Technical & Functional Skills
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and revenue recognition concepts
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Net. Suite or similar)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; exposure to automation or BI tools is a plus
  • Good documentation and reconciliation skills --- Behavioral & Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail with ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
