Maintenance Technician The Shores, a UMC Community 2201 Bay Avenue, Ocean City, NJ 08226 Full-time, year-round maintenance work at The Shores in Ocean City, a short walk from the beach. Pick your shift: 9 to 5, 11 to 7, or 12 to 8. $17.49 to $18.65 an hour plus full benefits. Who You'll Take Care Of The Shores is home to seniors in independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and rehab.

When a faucet leaks or a light goes out, you're the one who fixes it. You'll get to know residents by name, and they'll be glad to see you.

What You'll Do

Fix electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other building problems Answer repair requests from residents and staff Do routine preventive maintenance so equipment stays safe and working Keep service records and inspection logs up to date Track tools and supplies so the shop is stocked What You'll Need Required: High school diploma or GED Hands-on repair experience in carpentry, electrical, or plumbing Able to read work orders, safety labels, and equipment instructions Preferred: Maintenance experience in senior living, healthcare, hotels, or apartments New to senior living?
